Tara is an independent producer and filmmaker based in Chicago, IL who seeks to foster conversations and encourage connection through her films. Her producing style promotes collaboration and communication through every step of the process. Tara is currently a senior at DePaul University, where they are completing a degree in Creative Producing. She is currently an independent producer on multiple short films outside of DePaul and plans to continue their collaboration in the indie sphere.

In addition to producing, Tara is also an employee of DePaul’s Production Office, assisting students to create their own films. They recently concluded a 3-week long study abroad program in Croatia. There, she helped to create two short films alongside her peers. In addition to their studies, Tara leads the DePaul Producer’s Club as President and is participating in the William E. Hay Leadership program this upcoming year.

You can find Tara off-set at the lakefront, journaling or spending time with her friends. They love a nice walk, good matcha, and trying new things. Every interaction is a new opportunity to foster connection and learn new stories. Tara loves to read, write, and learn about new people and old.
